Hospice of Bennington County
Physical and emotional support to the terminally ill and their families. Individual and group bereavement counseling are also available. All services are free of charge. Amy Barber-Thomas, Director: 802-447-0307.

Project Against Violent Encounters
Services to more than 600 survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault annually. Included are: 24-hour hotline, safe homes, transitional housing, court advocacy, supervised visitation, Youth Education programs, information and referrals. Retired and Senior Volunteer Program
Opportunities for seniors 55 years and over to stay active, by providing needed community services countywide. There is a volunteer center for those under 55. Pat Palencsar, Director: 802-447- 1545, www.arcgmc.org

Southwestern Vermont Council on Aging

The Tutorial Center

Vermont Center for Independent Living

The Community Response Fund
A fund to serve both United Way agencies and other qualified human service groups to meet agency and community needs not covered by The United Way allocation process.
