BCH Annual Meeting and Community Awards ...
The Bennington Coalition for the Homeless annual meeting took place on August 24, 2011, at the Old First Congregational Church Barn . The recipients of the Second Annual Kathleen Hamilton Community Partner Award was the Twilight Program, under the direction and supervision of Dale Coppin, from Mount Anthony High School. This program has done tremendous work within the community while teaching the participants of the program employment skills, professionalism and the value of community service.
The recipient of the Second Annual Frieda Pello Sears Outstanding Volunteer Award was Genevieve Strohmaier, who has worked diligently to reduce homelessness in this by attending housing meetings, providing opportunities within the community by making affordable housing available, and helping BCH to meet mission goals.
